Gilgit: The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) and Karakoram International University (KIU) have entered into a strategic partnership to foster a thriving academic environment by facilitating research opportunities and providing essential resources for the development of students and scholars.
As part of the EU-funded Building Resilience of Civil Society and Youth in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral (GBC) initiative, AKRSP will support research scholars and students at KIU.
The formal signing ceremony was attended virtually by the Vice Chancellor of KIU, Professor Dr Attaullah Shah, along with representatives from both institutions. This collaboration marks the beginning of a promising alliance that aims to benefit students and researchers while contributing to the socio-economic development of the region.
