Following an extensive strategic review exercise in 2021, AKRSP has redefined its focus to address the changing needs of our communities and the environment. Our commitment is reflected in the seven interconnected thematic areas to improve the quality of life. The interventions under each thematic areas are rooted in community-led and locally driven approaches, ensuring ownership, sustainability, and relevance to local contexts.
These themes are supported by cross-cutting commitments to gender equality and youth empowerment, ensuring that our initiatives are inclusive and responsive to diverse needs. We also prioritize accessibility and equity by adopting an inclusive approach that actively considers the needs and participation of differently-abled persons across all our interventions.
